AUSTIN AND HOUSTON TRIP

My family and I recently were blessed with the opportunity to travel to Austin to shoot for one of my clients there.  They payed for my entire family to come down with me.  What a blessing that was, my family lives in Houston, only a couple of hours from Austin, and it was my moms birthday that weekend too.  The trip couldn't have come at a better time either, and as you can tell from these photos everyone was excited to be back in TX, even if it was only for a visit.  First here's my baby boy Lincoln, my wife got on to me because I photographed him in his pajamas.  When a child is this happy and is this willing to sit in front of your camera you don't care what he's wearing...just shoot!

My daughter, Scout, may not have been as enthusiastic to be in front of the camera but she sure was happy to be back in TX.  She seriously talks about it all the time.  She says, "Maybe when those people are done living in our house in Houston we can move back in."

To say that my Mom was happy with her birthday surprise (she didn't know we were coming) would be an understatement.  She really couldn't contain herself!  Here's Mom's birthday portrait with all of her grandbabies, Katelyn, Lauren, Lincoln and Scout.

I wanted to send a special thanks to Shane and Rachael Moss for providing this trip for us, you'll never know how much it meant to my family.  There will always be something nostalgic about Texas for me and I will always miss it, but Cali is home now, sorry Scout.  Thanks for looking and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!
